Teens & Tweens

The LJCC is a great place for teens to be with their friends. If you're in eighth grade or higher -- the Teen Lounge is YOUR room! Come hang out! The Teen Lounge is a comfortable place to sit, do your homework, and talk with friends. At the LJCC, teens have their freedom, but a staff person is always available to help if needed. In addition to the Teen Lounge, teen members 14 and up are welcome to exercise in our Fitness Center (or 13 with permission of Dan Tourtellotte, Sports and Fitness Director). Teens 13 and older may take any of our fitness classes. Teens are also welcome to play basketball in the Gym or study in the Library after school or on weekends.
BBYO
The LJCC is proud to sponsor B'nai Brith Youth Organization for grades 9-12. Birmingham's Magic City BBG (girls) and Mesch AZA (boys) chapters are part of the Cotton States Region. For more information, click here.
