Aquatics

The LJCC Aquatics Program provides great opportunities for all swimmers. 

Our 6 lane, 25 yard indoor pool is open year round for all your aquatics needs.  There are always at least 2 lap lanes available for adult lap swim.  We offer adult water exercise classes, swim lessons, swim team, as well as family swim. 

Swimmers 16 years of age and older may utilize the facility during its hours of operation: 

Monday – Thursday from 5:45 am – 8:45 pm

Friday from 5:45 am – 5:45 pm

Saturday from 12:00 – 5:45

Sunday from 6:30 am – 5:45 pm

No one under the age of 16 is allowed in our pools without a lifeguard on duty. 

A lifeguard is on duty Monday – Thursday from 3:00-5:00 and 6:30-8:30, Saturday from 12:00-4:30 and Sunday from 10:30-3:30 for family swim. 

Our gorgeous 288,000 gallon outdoor pool is open from May to September and is a fun, safe, comfortable pool for free swim, camp, swim lessons, swim team and dive team and water exercise classes.  Plan your next birthday party, club outing, or other function at our aquatic facility.   

General Policies

LJCC approved swim diapers must be worn for all children not toilet trained. Approved Swim Diapers may be purchased at the fitness desk.  NO DISPOSABLE SWIM DIAPERS.  Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult at the Outdoor Pool.  The LJCC adheres to all community guidelines of the Jefferson County Health Department and the American Red Cross for inclement weather and pool sanitation, which recommends the pool be closed immediately for contamination.  The pool will re-open after proper filtration has occurred and pool chemicals are back in normal range.  Both pools are immediately closed for thunder and will re-open 20 minutes after thunder and 30 minutes after lightening.
