Peer K Ethical Start Program
ECLC is proud to utilize the An Ethical Start® program. This acclaimed development tool is a multimedia exploration of Jewish values based on the text Pirkei Avot: Ethics of the Fathers (and mothers!) The program is a six-unit early childhood curriculum that introduces a shared language of values that encourages teachers and parents to view themselves as partners in supporting children's ethical development. Thanks to a generous donation from the Brook Family Foundation, Peer K. ExplorerTM, the official spokesman for An Ethical Start®, is enjoying his new role sharing the teachings from Pirkei Avot with the three and four year old classes. Shammai says, "....say little and do much, and greet everyone with a cheerful face."
