• Southern Jewish Life: Formerly The Deep South Jewish Voice, Southern Jewish Life is Alabama's, Mississippi's and now Louisiana's Jewish newspaper, an excellent source for Jewish news and commentary from the South, the US, Israel and the world at large.
• Birmingham Jewish Federation: The BJF is the Jewish community's central agency for fundraising, planning, community relatiions and volunteer development.
• Collat Jewish Family Services: A social service agency providing counseling, care management, ESL classes and assistance to people of all agences, with extensive services available to the elderly and their families.
• N.E. Miles Jewish Day School: Birmingham's community day school, consisting of grades K - 8.  Located at 4000 Montclair Road on the campus of the Levite Jewish Community Center.
